and "intelligent" street furniture. The Group has created an integrated design studio for this very purpose, comprised
of 110 engineers and technicians responsible for developing new solutions designed to enhance urban development.
Design
The primary service offered by JCDecaux's street furniture is to make the city that selected it a more
pleasant place to live. To ensure that every town can choose street furniture that blends in optimally with
its architecture and environment, JCDecaux works with more than 50 internationally-renowned designers
such as Philippe Starck, Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Lord Norman Foster, Mario Bellini, Philip Cox, Robert
Stern, Jean-Yves Arrivetz, etc. who have created comprehensive lines of street furniture for cities such as
San Francisco, Paris, Sydney, Chicago, Lyon...
